NOTICE - ROCK CLIMBING WALL

21 April 2016

Although an appeal for several rock climbing lovers, the rock climbing wall of mount Rigaud is not located on the lands (private property) of MONT RIGAUD ski resort, but on a neighbor's private property, owned by the real estate promotor Ma Baie Inc. Due to the proximity of the Des Érables street (or provincial route 325), the climbers can access the rock climbing wall passing through the lands (private property) of MONT RIGAUD ski resort. However, we do not endorse the practice of climbing on that site and we invite all climbers to exercise extreme caution.

MONT RIGAUD ski resort is a flagship of the regional tourism industry counting: a ski area that welcomes gliding sports enthusiasts during the winter season and mountain bike trail system to fill the summer activities.

From spring to autumn, all those who wish to access the mountain (hiking, climbing, etc.) by MONT RIGAUD ski resort must pay a parking fee. Parking is FREE for guests who pay for a service to MONT RIGAUD ski resort, such as: season ticket, ticket access to the mountain bike trails, the mountain bike school and the day camp.

Parking is also FREE in winter for customers of MONT RIGAUD ski resort. However, to avoid any accident with MONT RIGAUD's skiers and snowboarders, access to the mountain (hiking, climbing, etc.) is strictly forbidden in winter and that, as required by our insurers.

All these decisions are part of the family vocation of the company and in order to make MONT RIGAUD ski resort a four season destination where the maintenance of security and cleanliness are at the heart of our concerns.

In addition, parking is not allowed in front of MONT RIGAUD ski resort on the side of the road, and that, for road safety reasons established by Transport Quebec. Traffic signs indicating no parking are also located in different places on each side of the road. Anyone who violates this prohibition is punishable by a ticket issued by the Sûreté du Québec.

Thank you for your collaboration!
